Troopergate - The Verdict?

Guilty as charged.

"Sarah Palin unlawfully abused her power as governor by trying to have her former brother-in-law fired as a state trooper, the chief investigator of an Alaska legislative panel concluded Friday.
...

The report notes a few instances in which Palin pressed the case against trooper Mike Wooten, but it was her husband, Todd, who led the charge. Todd Palin had extraordinary access to the governor's office and her closest advisers and he used that access to try to get Wooten fired.

Gov. Palin knowingly ''permitted Todd to use the governor's office and the resources of the governor's office, including access to state employees, to continue to contact subordinate state employees in an effort to find some way to get Trooper Wooten fired,'' Branchflower's report reads."

Sarah Palin is a very controversial and shady chick and I have to wonder if conservatives would like her as much as they do if she were ugly. Sorry, but I think that's a fair question. Just in the past few days, I've overheard conversations and seen bumper stickers and yard signs in support of Palin specifically. And to that I say (of course), "You're all nucking futs."

I think it seems to be older Republican women that like her - again, this is speculation based on my own personal observation. What's worse, it that they seem to think that Palin is pro-woman or that supporting her makes them pro-woman when, in fact, Sarah Palin is about as anti-woman as they come. She's thrown our gender back to the days when men, women and dinosaurs roamed the earth together. (Okay - I almost couldn't even finish typing that sentence.)

Anyhoo...I actually didn't intend to shoot fish in a barrel - I mean go off on Sarah Palin.

Let's talk about Todd Palin: Toddapalooza, tryin' to get people fired that he doesn't like. The Toddmeister, doin' everything in the Gov's office BUT makin' copies. The Toddinator, hatin' America and knowingly and purposefully alignin' himself and his wife with a domestic terrorist.

I'm beginning to think that Todd is to Sarah as Dick is to W.

The Palins are seriously effed up. I realize that all families have their issues, but I wouldn't doubt it if a news report came out stating that Todd and Sarah have a whole Flowers in the Attic kind of thing going on. Nothing would surprise me at this point.
